Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois LIVE RESULTS: AJ’s career in tatters as he gets dropped FOUR times in KO defeat – updates and reaction

Anthony Joshua saw his heavyweight title dreams collapse after an emphatic defeat to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium.
AJ missed the chance to become only the sixth-ever three-time heavyweight champion after a dominant showing from Dubois in his first defence of the IBF belt.
‘DDD’ was upgraded to champion following Oleksandr Usyk’s decision to vacate his title to facilitate a rematch with Tyson Fury.
But he proved he was deserving of the title by flooring Joshua FOUR times en route to a thunderous knockout win in the fifth round.

Fury-osa
Tyson Fury has offered his thoughts on Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois.
Fury will sit in the front row to watch two of his heavyweight rivals battle it out for the IBF title at Wembley Stadium.
“It’s heavyweight boxing, anybody can beat anybody, as we’ve seen in the past,” Fury told The Stomping Ground.
“Who is gonna win? I don’t know. I don’t know anything about boxing, obviously. Every time I say a prediction I get it wrong anyway.
“I predict it will be a good fight. It looks like someone might get knocked out.
“They are both big old punchers, ain’t they?
“You wouldn’t want to get punched in the face or in the bs by any of them."
Joshua vs Dubois
Dubois' trainer, Don Charles, has insisted he will need to absorb fewer punches than in his last fight if he is to beat Joshua.
He said on talkSPORT Breakfast: "We have a lot of work to do.
"The defence, everyone has latched on to that and him getting with right hands. Yes we can see that and we are trying to improve.
"They say 'he will get knocked out by AJ' because he is leaking right hands. But in boxing when you throw a right hand, you are also in danger of being hit with one yourself.
"If they are foolish enough to bank on that, they have something else coming.
"We aren't ignorant we are going to work on it. He took far too many against Hrgovic.
"That wasn't the plan, but we will rectify that in the Joshua fight and we are not going to this time."
Joshua vs Dubois
Joshua is ready to enter the ‘wild’ and reclaim the IBF title while Dubois will be looking to ‘become a king-slayer’ and stun AJ.
Joshua said: "I'm not silly, I know the game. We're all in the wild. We're a pack of lions and hunters.
"It's the next man up. I've had Dubois on my mind for a while.
"The goal is just to get through a successful training camp, and then performing on the night."

Major upset in first fight
Josh Padley scored a stunning upset over Mark Chamberlain in the first fight on the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois undercard.
Chamberlain has been a mainstay of Riyadh Season cards and is an apparent favourite of Saudi boxing chief HE Turki Alalshikh.
However, the Portsmouth puncher had a torrid time at Wembley Stadium as he was dropped in the eighth round en route to a defeat on the scorecards by margins of 95-93, 96-92, 96-92.
Joshua vs Dubois
Hamzah Sheeraz and Tyler Denny will act as chief support in a European middleweight clash while Joshua Buatsi and Willy Hutchinson duke it out for the WBO interim light-heavyweight title further down the bill.
Anthony Cacace vs Josh Warrington was originally supposed to be for the IBF super-featherweight title, however, the major sanctioning body released a statement on Monday explaining that their version of the world title wouldn't be on the line as Warrington wasn't ranked at 130lbs.
Members of Warrington and Cacace's team informed marvelbet369.com that they have known this is the case for 'over a month'.
Elsewhere on the card, Ishmael Davis has stepped in for Liam Smith on short notice to box Josh Kelly while Mark Chamberlain battles Josh Padley in the curtain-raiser.

Hello and welcome!
Anthony Joshua will bid to become a three-time world heavyweight champion when he faces Daniel Dubois TONIGHT.
The British pair will contest the IBF heavyweight world title at Wembley following Oleksandr Usyk’s decision to vacate his belt.
Former undisputed champion Usyk dropped one of the four straps he claimed in May to facilitate a rematch with Tyson Fury rather than battle his overdue mandatory challenger Filip Hrgovic.
However, Hrgovic lost his status as the holder of the IBF interim belt to Dubois in June, which saw ‘DDD’ upgraded to full champion instead.
He now makes his first defence of the title against fellow Londoner Joshua in the duo's return to the capital's heavyweight fight scene.
And at the weigh in, the duo were separated by just 4lbs, with Joshua coming in at 252.3 and Dubois at 248.4.
The winner of Joshua vs Dubois knows a potential undisputed meeting with either Usyk or Fury would await next year.
