‘I’m seeing double’ – Fans stunned as Gervonta Davis shares ‘lookalike’ in fellow fighter with 100 per cent KO ratio

Boxing fans have claimed Gervonta Davis looks exactly like prospect Jursly Carlos Vargas.
Davis has become one of the most recognisable faces in the boxing world since making his meteoric rise under the stewardship of legend Floyd Mayweather.
Mayweather has been promoting a whole host of rising stars after his split with Davis in 2022, but 2-0 lightweight prospect Vargas is seen as one of his brightest.
And in new training footage of the fighter with a 100 per cent KO ratio, his resemblance to the current WBA lightweight champion is quite astounding.
Vargas has similar tattoos on his back, a similar hairstyle and is built with a similar physique to the high-profile star.
The footage has gone viral on social media and fans have been left stunned, with one writing: "Feel like I'm seeing double."
Another agreed, writing: "Yes absolutely [lots of similarities]. Davis also has a similar amount of tattoos."
A fan wrote: "I genuinely thought this was Gervonta until I saw Vargas' head shape."
A fellow user agreed: "S***, I genuinely scrolled past thinking it was 'Tank'."
One viewer joked: "Where on earth is this Tank factory located?"
Another was less convinced, addng: "He doesn’t punch as hard and his footwork isn’t elite.
"He resembles Tank look but so does a Hyundai Genesis to a S Class Benz."
A fan also claimed: "The orthodox version of Tank Davis."
While a final comment concluded: "Same physique and everything, but Tank's skills can't be duplicated."
Vargas has looked seriously impressive in his opening two bouts and clearly carries significant power.
Similarities can be drawn from his promotional status, with the 20-year-old nurturing his skills alongside Mayweather.
He was picked up by the retired champion, who was left impressed after his 2022 stoppage win over Yanko Naydenov.
The bright young star has a world of steps to take on his boxing journey to reach the levels of 'Tank' but a future showdown could have serious intrigue.
This would be particularly prominent given Davis has recently been embroiled in a feud with former mentor Mayweather.
He accused the multi-weight world champion of throwing him out of his gym before he beat Ryan Garcia in April 2023.
It appears the relationship is now beyond repair, as the pair continue to argue online to this day.
