Daniel Dubois has been practising some unorthodox methods to prepare for his upcoming clash with Anthony Joshua.

'Triple D' is set to square off with AJ on September 21 at Wembley Stadium in arguably the biggest fight of his career.

Dubois defeated Filip Hrgovic in June to pick up the 'interim' trinket and was subsequently upgraded to full world champion when Oleksandr Usyk vacated the IBF belt to pursue his rematch with Tyson Fury.

The 26-year-old will make the first defence of his title against Joshua later this month and is leaving no stone unturned in preparation for the fight.

Visualisation is a crucial part of many fighters' camps.

Dubois will likely be thinking about possible scenarios and situations that could play out on fight night every time he closes his eyes.

It's commonplace for a boxer to sit and think about the fight for long stretches every day, although Dubois is going about it slightly differently.

According to talkSPORT's Spencer Oliver, once Dubois has finished his training session he stares at Wembley Stadium for one hour every single day.

"Daniel Dubois is a different animal. He is very quiet, he is within himself, he doesn't really say too much," Oliver told .

"I'm going to give you an idea of how he walks into the gym, they have got the whole team in there, Don Charles is the trainer.

"Daniel walks in with the bag on his shoulder, won't say a word, puts his bag down, fist bumps one or two people, whoever is there.

"He then sits on the chair and puts his hands out to get his hands wrapped, he's not said anything yet.

"He doesn't say anything this is the character of the guy, he says so little. And guess where the gym is?

"The gym is in Boreham Wood. It's called the farm, so he trains on a farm in a big old farmhouse.

"It's beautiful to see. But when you go out into the car park, this what Daniel Dubois does every day.

Eddie Hearn and Simon Jordan get in heated exchange previewing Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois as Hearn says Dubois quit twice against Oleksandr Usyk and Joe Joyce , but Jordan says AJ did that against Andy Ruiz Jr

"What can you see? The Arches of Wembley. He is out there for about an hour a day, he just stands there and he stares at it. Honestly, it is insane."

Boxers are a superstitious breed. Former British light-middleweight champion Ensley Bingham would visit his mother's grave before his fights and pull a blade of grass out from the ground to keep in his left glove during the contest.

Meanwhile, John Molina used to punch every ring post once he entered the ring, including his rival's corner.

But Dubois' pre-fight ritual is up there with the whackiest of them all.
