Exclusive – Eubank Jr slams Saunders and vows: ‘I’ll blast him out of British boxing for good’

Chris Eubank Jr has accused Billy Joe Saunders of dragging boxing into the gutter and has vowed to blast away his British rival when they meet in the ring on Saturday night.
Eubank Jr has been left angered by Saunders’ public jibes at him ahead of their fight at London’s Excel Arena and says it has only made him more determined to snatch away his British, Commonwealth and European middleweight titles.
“Disgraceful isn’t even the word to describe some of the things he has said about me leading up to this fight,” said the unbeaten 25-year-old, speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
“He is upset a lot of people with the language and the things he has tried to put across about me. It brings a bad light on the sport.
“Kids are watching us as professionals and they are looking at us to teach them how to act. Kids will look at the things he is saying and will think, 'if the British, Commonwealth and European champion is saying this stuff about his opponent before a fight, then this is the type of thing I should be doing'.
“He is a let down to the sport and I cannot wait to blast him out of British boxing for good.
“He won’t last the 12 rounds with me. He doesn’t have the heart or the spirit to handle the power that I am going to be putting on him.”
Tune into talkSPORT on Saturday night for live and exclusive radio commentary of Chris Eubank Jr's fight with Billy Joe Saunders, and the huge heavyweight showdown between Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury.
