The west Cumbrian was victorious over Poland’s David Oscar in what was an action-packed main event that witnessed five knockdowns in just over two minutes of fighting.
Northern Ireland’s Conor Cooke overcame Matthew Hodgson in the co-main event in their five-round brawl, but couldn’t take home the UK light heavyweight title due to missing weight ahead of the bout.
Meanwhile, McGregor was left speechless after Ben Bonner knocked Newcastle’s Lewis Keen out cold in a lightweight fight that also featured on the main card.

McGregor shared numerous photos from the event in Newcastle, which he arrived at midway through the main card much to the amusement of the fans in attendance.
One particular photo shows a horrible cut sustained by main eventer Oscar on the left side of his lip that could cast him as the next Joaquin Phoenix in Joker.
Faulkner and Oscar went at it in the squared circle for just over two minutes altogether, but at times it was all or nothing in a millisecond for both men.
They were successful in knocking each other down in the first round, before Cumbria’s Faulker ended the fight only seconds after the bell signalled the start of round two.
More photos from McGregor’s post shows 41-year-old BKFC world heavyweight champion Mick Terrill on the scene.
It is likely that he will meet Faulkner in Europe or America in the near future to unify the BKFC heavyweight division.
