Paul has generated a huge pool of revenue from his short boxing career of 12 professional fights, and his showdown with Tyson promises to be the most lucrative of his career.

As a result, 'El Gallo' has been able to splash out on his ring outfit including a luxury set of boxing shorts.

He revealed that he had spent $1 million on the attire, and teased a spectacular walk-out to the ring.

It is unclear if they for certain will break the record, with only Amir Khan having claimed to break it, spending £30,000 on 24-carat gold shorts for his December 2014 clash with Devon Alexander.

Paul is no stranger to producing a series of colourful and lavish boxing attire, having worn LED shorts for his 2021 win over Tyron Woodley.

He has also regularly splashed out money before his fights, including purchasing a £13,000 Rolex watch for Woodley.

Paul has already himself bought Tyson a gift, presenting him with a pigeon, which the heavyweight legend reacted sinisterly too.

To the open workout yesterday during fight week, Paul sported a cockerel-head costume in tribute to his 'El Gallo' nickname with the fun antics now firmly in swing.

Paul is hoping to break records with the incredible event, which he has also suggested will shatter the US indoor attendance record at the AT&T Stadium with close to 80,000 spectators due in.

But one record he will be hoping to boost will be his own professional record against the heavyweight veteran, who hasn't fought competitively since 2005.

Tyson looks in formidable shape and still possesses crushing punch power, which will be a real threat come fight night.

And 'Iron Mike' has insisted he is in great shape and is coming with dangerous intention of winning by KO.

“I’m boxing eight rounds every day. I'm just ready. I fooled myself," he said.

"I can’t believe I’m at this stage of my life where I'm ready to go in there and fight.

“At this stage of my life, I don’t need that kind of [‘Iron Mike’] kick. There’s no need for me to have that guy in my life anymore, not even for combat.

“There’s no room for him in my life no more in no situation. My intentions are to hurt Jake Paul.
