Daniel Dubois reveals Jake Paul reply to leaked DMs that suggests he is ‘serious’ about fight
Daniel Dubois believes Jake Paul is 'serious' about fighting him.
The IBF heavyweight champion called out Paul via Instagram direct messages after the YouTuber-turned-boxer's win over a 58-year-old Mike Tyson last weekend.

Paul would later leak his DM, which read: "Hi Jake, good business on the weekend but how would you feel fighting for the legitimate heavyweight championship of the world?
"This is Daniel Dubois calling you out, let's get it on."
Paul responded by telling Dubois to 'get in line' accompanied by a picture of a tape measure.
But his next reply gave Dubois the impression that he actually wants to fight him.

"We messaged him, my dad and everyone decided, 'Yeah, let's call him out'," Dubois told .
"Even though it's just publicity, you never know what can happen in this sport. It's strange times so we made the offer.
Asked if he replied, Dubois responded: "He said something about getting in line but he also said he was going to speak to Frank Warren so it shows they are serious about it."
The response, Dubois is referring to is the one Paul posted on X.

"Man been boxing for 12 years, has over 100 fights between amateur and pro and fought on my undercard…hahaha," Paul wrote alongside a screenshot of Dubois' message.
"But f*** it… I’m going to have Nakisa talk to Frankie Warren and get you in line for the throne.

"Unlike Artur, at least you have a few thousand fans."
Undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev also called out Paul but 'The Problem Child' seemed less keen on the idea.
The Russian wrote: “Jake Paul what can you do in a ring against the current undisputed champion?
"Just know that I’m open to any suggestions.”
"Just seen this," Paul replied. "Top 5 pound for pound fighter in the world calling me out. Hahahahahaha. 4 years in and I run this sport."
The fight Paul claims to really want is one with unified super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez, who he called out after the Tyson bout.

"Canelo needs me, so I'm not even going to try and call him out," Paul said post-fight.
"He knows he wants a payday. So, he knows where the money man is at...
"He's going to want a payday and I want to show the world all the [stuff] I've been talking about beating Canelo is true and I'll have the biggest upset in the history of boxing.
"We'll fight to really see who is the face [of boxing] because, after this event, I'm going to be claiming it."
Realistically, it is unlikely Paul will go from fighting a man who has been retired for 19 years to a world-class boxer but he certainly knows how to sell himself.
