Deji has had a wild boxing journey, especially when considering the fact he's only had six fights to date.

In that short span, the YouTube sensation has given Jake Paul a bloody nose, Floyd Mayweather a black eye, and picked up two victories he will treasure for years to come.

Wins did not come easily for Deji though.

At the start of his YouTube boxing career he went 0-3, with losses to Paul, Vinnie Hacker and Alex Wassabi.

When he faced Paul, few could have known what would come of the bout.

The pair met in a white collar contest in Manchester on the undercard of their brothers' much anticipated showdown.

KSI and Logan Paul starred in the main event, while Deji and Jake Paul met as an addition to this storyline.

In the end though, it could be argued that far bigger things came as a result of the co-feature bout.

"The Jake Paul fight was a weird one," Deji told marvelbet369.com in Doha ahead of his return on the Misfits Qatar Super Card this Thursday.

"Obviously I was calling him out and everything whilst I was in the UK and then randomly I took a trip to LA.

"Jake Paul was living in LA at the time, but it didn't really cross my mind that I could bump into him.

"And then I remember the people who I was chilling with, one of them said, 'Oh, Jake Paul wants to meet you.'

"I was like, 'Oh, he just wants to meet me? Okay, that's cool.'

"So we met in a park and he had gloves with him and he was like, 'Let's fight right now in this park.'

"And I'm there like, 'I'm not going to do that.'

"But that's kind of how it started because he kind of punked me. I looked like a little wimp. So that's kind of how the fight came about."

Few gave Deji much hope heading into that fight, but he surprised many by putting up a strong effort and bloodying his foe's nose before being stopped in the penultimate fifth round.

Paul has since gone on to become a major controversial star in boxing, most recently sharing the ring with 58-year-old Mike Tyson and winning on points.

Cars, Jets and watches - What are Floyd Mayweather most expensive purchases ever?

"I mean, with me, I have no regrets in anything," Deji insisted.

"Because I feel like if you live with regrets then you'll just forever have doubt in your mind.

"But yeah, obviously if I had beat Jake Paul, none of this would have been happening. The whole Mike Tyson, all of that, but it is what it is.

"I do look back at it, I still believe I was Jake's toughest fight. I bloodied his nose."

After losing his first three fights, Deji earned a heartwarming long-awaited victory over Fousey.

He then received an unexpected call for arguably the most bizarre bout crossover boxing has seen - an exhibition with Floyd Mayweather.

Deji flew to Dubai to share the ring with Mayweather, who seemingly had the sole aim of bossing him around, humiliating him and hurting him, while also picking up an eight-figure pay check.

While Deji could not do much to prevent Mayweather's showboating or world class boxing ability, he did manage to famously land one big punch which left the American with a black eye and went viral.

"It was cool," he said, reflecting on the whole experience, "The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we were meant to fight in 14oz gloves.

"My contract said 14oz gloves but then all of a sudden, last minute, it changed to 10oz gloves.

"That's the only thing. Other than that, yeah. It was an amazing event."

Funnily enough, a bout between Mayweather and Jake was once a topic of serious discussion as Floyd previously faced Logan.

Asked who would win if his two former foes ever meet, Deji smiled and replied: "Oh, Floyd. Floyd, comfortably."

Deji has since returned with the second win of his boxing career against Swarmz.

Now, he is training out of the same Farm Gym which houses IBF heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois and is set to return against Dawood Savage on the Misfits Qatar Super Card this Thursday.

"Yeah, I love it. It's amazing. I just love the gym so much. It's everything I need," he explained.

"I was definitely going to come back to boxing. I was just enjoying my time."

For someone who's already experienced so much in just six fights and is already a multi-millionaire from his other ventures, Deji could happily walk away from the sport.

However, he gave a one-word answer which explained the motivations behind his return.

When asked what his goal is in boxing moving forwards, Deji simply replied: "Winning."
