WATCH: Conor McGregor shown up in sparring session by former IBO champion Chris van Heerden

Conor McGregor may want to focus on his boxing rather than thrash talk for the next couple of months.

The Irish MMA fighter is preparing for his super-fight against five-time world champion boxer, Floyd Mayweather, on August 26.

But the loud character had a sparring session to forget after being dominated in the ring by former welterweight champion, Chris van Heerden, in the ring.

Van Heerden, a former IBO champ, tweeted alongside the video: “People telling me Mayweather will have his hands full trying to land on McGregor - STOP IT! I respect McGregor BUT I ain’t Floyd and I landed.”
