George Groves vs Chris Eubank Junior: Referee who infamously stopped Groves against Carl Froch in 2013 will be on judges panel

The referee who stopped George Groves in his first fight with Carl Froch will be on the panel of judges for his fight with Chris Eubank Jr.
Groves faces Eubank Jr in the semi-final of the World Boxing Super Series, in what is one of the most anticipated British fights in years.
The fight is one of the most eagerly anticipated all-British fights in years, and referee Howard Foster will be scoring the contest from ringside.
The 56-year-old has history with Groves, having controversially stopped his first fight with Carl Froch in 2013.
Having dropped the WBA and IBF title-holder in the first round, Groves was stopped by Foster in the ninth round despite seeming to be still in the fight.
The Hammersmith native has since confirmed he has no problem with the referee, and hios since gone on to establish himself as one of the best super-middleweights in the world.
The pair went onto have a rematch in May 2014, with Nottingham-born Froch conclusively ending their rivalry via a knockout in front of 80,000 people at Wembley.
In May 2017, the British boxer produced a gutsy performance to stop the big-punching Fedor Chudinov to claim the WBA title.
However, he now faces a huge test against to his crown.
Although Groves is the more natural super-middleweight, the odds are tipped in the favour of the younger, albeit inexperienced Eubank Jr.
