Amir Khan v Phil Lo Greco - April 21
talkSPORT will produce live coverage of Amir Khan’s return to the ring when he takes on Canadian Phil Lo Greco, April 21 in Liverpool. Khan hasn’t fought since being KOd by Canelo Alvarez in May 2016, but is now motivated to become a world champion again.
His opponent has mixed it with top opposition in the past, losing to Errol Spence and Shawn Porter. Could he pick up his first world class win by overcoming Khan?
Tony Bellew v David Haye II – May 5
You can hear the rematch of one of 2017’s most dramatic fights on talkSPORT when Tony Bellew and David Haye lock horns again. Haye looked out of sorts at the beginning of their first fight last March and was then thrown into disarray as he ruptured his Achilles in round six. Bellew took advantage and won by stoppage to cause a huge upset.
Now, over year later, following a postponement due to another Haye injury, the pair are set to meet again. Haye is once again a heavy favourite; can he prove the bookies right this time around?
George Groves v Callum Smith - July (Date TBC)
In February, talkSPORT brought you coverage of the two World Boxing Super Series semi-finals in consecutive weeks. George Groves beat Chris Eubank Jr by unanimous decision and Callum Smith won on points against late replacement Nieky Holzken to set up an enormous summer final.
The date is yet to be set due to Groves’ dislocated shoulder injury, but it is expected for July. Who will take home the Ali Trophy?
