David Price reassures fans ‘All is OK’ after sickening knockout at the hands of Alexander Povetkin in Cardiff

David Price has broken his silence, and taken to social media to reassure fans he is alright after suffering a brutal knockout at the hands of Alexander Povetkin.
The towering heavyweight hit the canvas in the third after abooming left hand from the Russian, before briefly giving himself hope of a stunning upset with some tremendous left hands which left Povetkin on the ropes.
However, the Liverpool-born fighter could not capitalise and suffered a sickening knockout in the following round after being opened up by brutal combinations.
Despite receiving medical attention in the aftermath, Price was able to leave the ring on his own accord and took to Twitter on Sunday afternoon to reassure concerned fans.
"Hello everyone just letting you know all is ok," he said.
"I took this fight and understood the risks involved, but if you don’t have a go- you’ll never know.
"I’m proud I put it all on the line in front of a massive audience and I’d do it all again. Loved every minute."

Later in the evening, Anthony Joshua moved one step closer to beoming the undisputed Heavyweight champion of the World with a solid, if unspectacular performance against Joseph Parker.
The Englishman required points for the first time in his professional career, but ulitmately claimed Parker's WBO strap.
