The 31-year-old returned with a blistering 39-second KO of Canada’s Phil Lo Greco on Saturday night in Liverpool and instantly declared his intention to become a world champion again.

Domestic rival Kell Brook also got involved in a slightly cringeworthy war of words with Khan after the bout. A long-overdue fight between the pair could still generate a lot of interest.
