Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury: Billy Joe Saunders sends foul-mouthed warning to WBC champion after racism comments
The Brit has bet £70,000 on his friend and fellow countryman to emerge victorious

Billy Joe Saunders has declared that Deontay Wilder should not bring racism into the discussion regarding his upcoming fight with Tyson Fury.
Ahead of their bout on Saturday, the American blasted a reporter over a race-related comment and hinted that he believes he is being treated differently from his opponent due to their dissimilar backgrounds.
After hearing the comments, Saunders – who is a gypsy like Fury – took to social media to give his opinion on the matter.
“I think Deontay Wilder should not bring the background of his race up,” Saunders began in a tweet.
“If only he knew how gypsies are brought up. We even had to steal our school meals.”
The former middleweight champion concluded his post by sending a strong warning to the WBC champion: “Tyson Fury to f*** you up, bad.”
Saunders has also bet an astonishing £70,000 on Tyson Fury to beat Deontay Wilder this weekend.
The 29-year-old uploaded the below video which showed him in a Ladbrokes shop lumping on his friend to win at odds of 11/8 – meaning he will claim a total of £166,250, should the ‘Gypsy King’ emerge victorious.
However, Wilder reacted by insisting that instead of taking home six figures, Saunders will end up with nothing.
