Anthony Joshua ‘likes’ Instagram comments criticising Deontay Wilder while discussing Tyson Fury draw with fans
The unified heavyweight champion has been very active on social media following the clash between his heavyweight rivals in Los Angeles

Anthony Joshua has ‘liked’ derogatory comments about heavyweight rival Deontay Wilder and hit back at his own critics on Instagram.
The 29-year-old uncharacteristically opted to begin a public discussion on Tuesday, three days after Wilder’s controversial draw with Tyson Fury in their WBC title fight.
Regarding the fight, Joshua first tweeted: Well done Fury. They wanted to get you because they assumed you was finished!!
“I’ll give you a fair one when you’re ready! Either one of you!”
Then – on Instagram – AJ added the following: “I am unified heavyweight world champion, I’ve unified the belts twice.
“I just need to get my hands on one more belt to become undisputed, all in five years.”

Some of the replies the champion received were complimentary, while others criticised him over the failed negotiations between his team and Wilder’s, which led the American to take the Fury fight.
One such response stated: “LOL, Fury lost 100lbs and came back to sign the contract before you did, I’ve never seen someone lose so much relevancy as quickly as you did that night.”
To which Joshua clapped back: “Check the stats, numbers don’t lie.”
Anthony Joshua then liked a spate of tweets criticising his rival.
One declared: “Wilder’s team have f***ed themselves, they are desperate for the Joshua fight to earn some big money because now the public will demand the Fury rematch which should be in the UK and Wilder will lose, again.”
Another put: “In my eyes the best fight for boxing as a sport is you vs Tyson Fury in a packed arena.
"F*** giving Wilder and Shelly Finkel a pay day.”

Finally, AJ responded to one fan who said: “Do not fight in America, the system does not favour British boxers who are coming to fight for world titles.
“It happened to Lennox Lewis against Evander Holyfield, now Tyson Fury. They will work against you.”
Joshua replied: “I understand, and it's the same in everyone’s home turf. Knockouts are best.”
