Eddie Hearn planning ‘heavyweight night’ in April featuring Dereck Chisora vs Joseph Parker on Dillian Whyte undercard
It could be a busy event for boxing’s big boys when the converge on London's O2

It has been confirmed that Dillian Whyte will next fight on April 20 at the O2 Arena in London.
The 30-year-old was originally hoping to challenge Anthony Joshua for his unified heavyweight titles on at Wembley a week before, however, terms could not be agreed and it seems AJ will instead face Jarrell Miller in New York in June.
As a result, Whyte will continue his heavyweight campaign without AJ and, while his opponent is as yet unknown, there are already big plans being put in place for the undercard.
“Dave Allen against Lucas Browne obviously is a fight for that card,” promoter Eddie Hearn told as he began to detail his vision for a heavyweight blockbuster.
“A few other big things in the pipeline, I’d quite like to make [Dereck] Chisora against Joseph Parker for that card as well.
“Kind of like a heavyweight night. We’ll see where that goes over the next few days.”
Popular heavyweight Dave Allen previously lost to Dillian Whyte in 2016 and is now friends with the Brixton man, so it makes sense that his agreed bout with Browne would be on the bill.
Whyte also beat both Parker and Chisora in thrilling fights last year. A clash between the pair could well produce fireworks.
American heavyweight Michael Hunter signed with Matchroom after producing two impressive victories over Martin Bakole and Alexander Ustinov late in 2018.

For his outing on April 20, Hearn suggested: “I like Hunter vs [Carlos] Takam, something like that. I’d like to do four or five heavyweight big fights on that card.
“Just build a big heavyweight night.”
