James DeGale v Chris Eubank Jr: ‘Chunky’ urged to retire by former world champion Glenn McCrory after being ‘soundly beaten’ by British rival
The former two-time IBF super-middleweight looked a shadow of himself at the 02 on Saturday night, losing a unanimous points decision

Former world champion Glenn McCrory has told talkSPORT he hopes James DeGale retires after being 'soundly beaten' by Chris Eubank Jr.
After a feud which began with a tempestuous sparring session seven years ago, Eubank Jr exacted his revenge on former IBF super-middleweight champion at the 02 on Saturday night.
The younger man heaped pressure on DeGale all night and his relentless work rate and ferocity stunned 'Chunky' and left him on the canvas twice.
In the build up to the fight, McCrory told talkSPORT he feared time would catch up to the 33-year-old after a stellar, yet gruelling career at the highest level.
And, after being outworked and outfought on the night, the former crusierweight champion told the Weekend Sports Breakfast he hopes DeGale calls it a day after the punishing defeat.
"I hope so," McCrory replied when asked if DeGale should retire. "Because when he looks back at this, he has had a great career; he's a two-time world champion, an Olympic Gold medallist.

"But when a fighter is soundly beaten and then protests that he has won, it's a little bit sad.
"I think when he looks back at that fight he will think he was not really in it. He was bullied, he was beaten, he was soundly beaten!
"I think that will be it.
"When he looks at that, I think he will say 'You know what, I haven't got anymore' and go on to other things."
