Eddie Hearn tells funny story of what Canelo Alvarez said to him after beating Daniel Jacobs and Rocky Fielding
The Mexican star has conquered two of Hearn’s men in his last two fights

Eddie Hearn has revealed that he was subtly mocked by Canelo Alvarez following his win over Daniel Jacobs on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old sensation defeated his American opponent by unanimous decision in Las Vegas and so has now beaten two of Hearn’s fighters in his last two bouts.
In December, Canelo knocked out Rocky Fielding in three rounds before then securing this unification win over Jacobs.
Hearn told : “When I left the arena on Saturday, he [Canelo] came over to me and I said, 'Well done.'
“As he walked off, he went, 'Hey Eddie, who have you got next for me?'
“He's beaten Fielding, now Jacobs and now we've got two more for him; [Callum] Smith and [Demetrius] Andrade.”
It’s assumed by many that Canelo’s next clash will be a trilogy bout against Gennady Golovkin.
However, as the Mexican fights at both middleweight and super-middleweight, Hearn does have two more men waiting for him in future fights.
Canelo now holds three of the four middleweight world titles, with Demetrius Andrade owning the final piece of the puzzle.
Meanwhile, up at super-middleweight, the WBA and Ring Magazine champion is Liverpool’s Callum Smith.
Both would provide tantalising tests for Canelo in the future, and give him the opportunity to secure more victories over Hearn.
