Anthony Joshua says ‘Drake curse’ is real after fight with Jarrell Miller falls through a month after selfie
A number of athletes have suffered some degree of misfortune after being snapped alongside the music superstar

Anthony Joshua has jokingly said he is the latest victim of the 'Drake curse' after his American debut was marred by Jarrell Miller's three failed drug tests.
Joshua was planning to have his first fight in the US against Miller on June 1 in New York, but the American tested positive for GW1516 and he also failed two further tests for HGH and EPO (plus GW1516 again).
That shocking news came less than a month after Joshua posted a picture of Drake on his Instagram account on March 21 with the caption: 'Bout to break the curse.'
The unbeaten Brit will now defend his unified heavyweight world titles against Andy Ruiz Jr instead and Joshua believes he is the latest to suffer as a result of having a picture taken with the Canadian musician.
"You know about the Drake curse? It is real, though. Do you know what is weird actually? I took a picture with Drake before Miller got banned," Joshua said on The Michael Kay Show.
