Everyone loves an underdog, an unfancied pick who storms through the field to win on the biggest stage.
The US Open takes centre-stage this weekend with Brooks Koepka, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy tipped for glory at the iconic Pebble Beach.
But further down the betting lists, there are some big names who could certainly upset the odds and take home the title in this year’s third Major.
The US Open always provides one of the most difficult tests in golf meaning form and rank can go out of the window.

The US Open has meant heartache for Lefty down the years.

Casey has been fancied at both Majors this year as he strives for his first title but came up short at Augusta and at Bethpage Black.

Sneds should have a perfect game for Pebble Beach and couple that with his newly-found confidence, he could secure his maiden Major win.

Irishman Lowry was Rory McIlroy’s closest challenger at the Canadian Open last weekend and played some brilliant golf in Hamilton.
He always seems to start tournaments well before fading - can he make a sustained charge at the title this time around?
Matt Wallace 100-1
Wallace is going from strength to strength with each weekend he plays and a Major certainly seems on the horizon for him.
The Englishman’s third place finish at the 2019 PGA Championship proved he can cut it among the world’s best.

KK should have the ideal game for Pebble Beach and has won several times on seaside courses.
He beat Matt Kuchar to the WGC Match Play title in March and will be looking to replicate that form to win his first Major.

He won the US Open in 2010 and will relish another shot at glory.
