Boxing news: Regis Prograis vs Josh Taylor reportedly set to share show with Joseph Parker vs Derek Chisora, October 26 in London

The World Boxing Super Series super-lightweight tournament final between Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor is reportedly back on track.

Despite serious legal problems putting the fight in jeopardy earlier this month, it appears things now go ahead with a new date and venue.

Prograis’ team initially filed a lawsuit with the intention of pulling out of the tournament due to financial and timescale concerns.

However it is now reported by that these issues are being worked out.

It’s claimed that Prograis vs Taylor is being targeted for October 26 at the O2 Arena in London, a date previously held by Eddie Hearn at the venue.

While this is not yet confirmed, it appears the promoter is working to help salvage the WBSS final and fuse their show with his in order to put together a Sky Sports pay-per-view.

Earlier this week, Joseph Parker confirmed a deal is ‘nearly there’ for him to face Derek Chisora on October 26 at the O2 Arena.

According to , that heavyweight clash will now serve as the co-main event beneath Prograis vs Taylor.
