Boxing news: George Groves comments on Carl Froch claiming Earth is flat, Froch responds with Wembley fight jibe

George Groves made reference to Carl Froch’s flat Earth comments ahead of their speaking event together on Saturday.
The ‘Cobra’ made headlines when he revealed he believes the globe is not actually a globe.
Froch told the : "The Earth is flat, 100 per cent.
"There's no proof of the Earth's curvature and this fake space agency NASA use CGI images and every one is different.
"I'm looking at them thinking, 'Hang on a minute, they're like cartoons.'
"When someone like Richard Branson goes up there and starts doing chartered flights... and you can look back on Earth and see the Earth's curvature, I'll believe the Earth is a globe."
Groves and Froch went to war in two epic battles after developing a legendary British rivalry in 2013/14 and are now set to host a speaking event together having finally buried the hatchet.
In response to hearing Froch’s headline-grabbing comments, Groves posted: “Well, our meet and greet weekend just got a little more interesting.
“My world got flattened at Wembley Stadium once in 2014, but other than that I’m a little out the loop.
“Any questions I should research or look out for before Saturday?”
