Deontay Wilder confirms he will fight Anthony Joshua despite Brit’s shock title loss to Andy Ruiz Jr

Frank Warren and Dave Allen exchange public negotiations

After Allen called for the Dubois fight on Saturday, he subsequently came out and declared it ‘dead in the water’ due to what he claimed was a ‘horrendously low’ offer from Frank Warren.

Warren responded to refute this claim and make public their negotiations in a statement today, with the ‘White Rhino’ sending back a message of his own.

Barry Hearn says Tyson Fury’s WWE venture is smart move

Hearn told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast: “He’s doing a good job on self-publicity.

“It is a bit of a circus, of course it is, it’s a rehearsed nonsense, but this is the world we’re in.

“Today’s world commercially, I hate to say this because I love sport, it’s probably more important to be famous than good. That’s the social media world we’re living in.

“What Tyson Fury’s doing in a funny old way is making himself famous.

“It is a big cringey I know, but bless him he needs the profile.

Marco Huck’s team win Joe Joyce purse bid

Joyce has no issue travelling to Germany to face Huck for the vacant European heavyweight title, marvelbet369.com have been told.

On Wednesday morning, Huck’s camp won the purse bid to stage the bout, which was ordered by the EBU after Agit Kabayel dropped the belt.

It would be a major shock were they not to put it on in his home country of Germany, but Joyce’s manager Sam Jones insists this won’t prevent the fight from happening.

Jones told marvelbet369.com: “We will fight on Mars, it doesn’t matter – a ring’s a f***ing ring.”

Deal agreed for Eddie Hearn to promote David Avanesyan vs Josh Kelly

In other European title news, Eddie Hearn has confirmed to marvelbet369.com that a deal was agreed on Tuesday evening for Joyce’s gymmate Josh Kelly to get his crack at the EBU belt.

Kelly is mandatory challenger for David Avanesyan who stunningly knocked out Kerman Lejarraga to claim the welterweight crown earlier this year before repeating the feat in the rematch.

Kelly has the perfect chance to silence his critics and pick up his best win to date, with Hearn set to promote the Avanesyan fight.
