Floyd Mayweather comeback: What Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez, Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov have said about TBE recently

Floyd Mayweather announced a shock comeback on Friday morning, seemingly from out of the blue.
Just days after reiterating that he was done with fighting, the legendary 50-0 boxer took to social media to declare he’ll return in 2020.
This will come as music to the ears of his old boxing rivals such as Canelo Alvarez and Manny Pacquiao who will no doubt be eyeing up another potentially massive payday with Mayweather.
However the circumstances of Floyd’s post will also catch the eye of UFC fighters such as former foe Conor McGregor and a man who previously called him out – Khabib Nurmagomedov.
This is because Mayweather uploaded a picture of himself sat with UFC president Dana White and said: “Dana White and I working together again to bring the world another spectacular event in 2020.”
Here is what the four rivals have said about Mayweather recently…
LATEST BOXING NEWS
Manny Pacquiao
Mayweather beat Pacquiao on points in 2015.
Late last month, Manny posted a video to social media in which he called out Mayweather alongside Chinese billionaire Jack Ma.
Pacquiao declared: “Floyd Mayweather, if you want a real fight, fight me.
“If you want an exhibition, my guy, my friend, Jack Ma will take care of you.
“The real Manny Team.”
Canelo Alvarez
Mayweather beat Canelo on points in 2013.
Following his win over Sergey Kovalev this month, Canelo said: "It's different now, I'm a different fighter.
"I think he's good too, but I'm a different fighter now.
"Maybe [it would be a] different fight."
Conor McGregor
Mayweather stopped McGregor in round ten in 2017.
Last month, the ‘Notorious’ reflected: "I went into another man's sport. The supposed best and faced him at his skill set.
"It was supposed to be reciprocated. I would box him, he would fight me, but it didn't turn out that way."
Khabib Nurmagomedov
In the aftermath of his own win over McGregor, Khabib attempted to secure Mayweather for himself.
More recently, he stated: "I think it would be better for me to fight Tony Ferguson rather than Floyd at this stage of my career. I’m more focused on MMA.
"If he moved to MMA we would fight but I don’t think it’s possible. I don’t have plans to have a boxing fight next year."
