Tyson Fury’s dad offers HUGE £100,000 bet to David Haye that ‘Gypsy King’ defeats Deontay Wilder in highly-anticipated rematch

Tyson Fury's father has offered David Haye a £100,000 bet that his son will beat Deontay Wilder in the pair's mouthwatering rematch.

The lucrative wager was made on BT Sport's The Debate, where the pair discussed the rematch of the bout on February 22 in Las Vegas.

Haye, a former British heavyweight champion, claimed he sees no sign of Wilder 'cracking' in the fight, but the 'Gypsy King's' father, unimpressed with his counterpart's prediction, told him to put his money where his mouth was.

He said: “Do you want to bet? I’ll bet you 50 grand, 100 grand, I'm a man of my word."

But Haye, 39, said he wasn't interested in shaking on the deal.

“I don’t like to bet. It’s not about betting," he said.

"It’s about my opinion, and my opinion is Wilder won’t crack. He’s not the cracking type of guy.

"I’ve never seen anything in the ring when he’s fought, and I’ve never seen anything personality-wise.

"I’ve never seen anything in sparring that suggests that he cracks under pressure. Until I see a man crack, I give the man the benefit of the doubt.

Fury's long-awaited rematch against Wilder is just two weeks away and he is hoping he rights the wrong of the controversially-awarded draw in December 2018.
