Mike Tyson confirmed to make shock return to wrestling with AEW at Double or Nothing to present TNT title

Mike Tyson has been making all kinds of headlines recently, but not many people expected them to be in the professional wrestling world.
Yes, Iron Mike is a WWE Hall of Famer, but it's not the WWE he will be appearing in.
The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world - who at 53 wants to fight again - will be presenting the brand new TNT title for All Elite Wrestling at their next pay-per-view, Double or Nothing on May 23.
Tyson's last dabble in wrestling came with the WWE when he was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2012. Prior to that, he had tag teamed with Chris Jericho against D-Generation X on RAW in 2010.
Most famously, he appeared as the special guest referee for Shawn Michaels versus Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14.
The Baddest Man on the Planet was a huge coup for WWE at the time and he helped turn the tide in the Monday Night Wars as a result.
That helped WWE defeat WCW a few years later, but now he is appearing for WWE's primary competition.
AEW is the company run by Tony Khan who has Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks as his executive vice presidents.
They've only been in existence since January 1, 2019, but they have already established themselves as the number two wrestling promotion in North America and they have, for the most part, dominated NXT in the ratings on Wednesday nights.
AEW had run a tournament to crown their first-ever TNT champion and the finalists are Rhodes and Lance Archer.
While Tyson is only their to present the title - similarly to what Bret Hart did with the AEW world title at the same event last year - it's hard to believe someone isn't getting knocked out, isn't it?
Tyson has received a ton of offers to return to the ring in light of his weight loss and workout videos that show he is still a very dangerous man, but will he pull the trigger? Or, like Brock Lesnar once realised, will he prefer the easy money in pro wrestling?
