Chris Jericho hints at potential wrestling match with Mike Tyson in AEW insisting Iron Mike ‘is capable’

Mike Tyson has been a busy boy lately and with the shape he has gotten himself in, he's clearly primed for a return.
But, is it a return to the boxing ring like everyone thought? It's looking like maybe it's not.
Tyson has been featured on All Elite Wrestling recently. First, he presented the new TNT title to Cody Rhodes and then he had a brawl with Chris Jericho this week on AEW Dynamite.
All signs are pointing to Tyson making more appearances in AEW and Iron Mike said emphatically at the climax of Dynamite that he is not done with Chris Jericho.
Speaking of the first-ever AEW champion, Jericho spoke to moments after the brawl with Tyson and he suggested that the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world - now 53 - is very capable of having a wrestling match with him.
He said: “Of course, he’s capable. Wrestling is all shapes and sizes and there’s a lot of different ways to do it. If he’s agreeable to doing something with us, then we work to his strengths and eliminate his weaknesses - that’s what wrestling’s all about.
"He wants to be in the spotlight again and AEW's the cool place to be. I mean, there's no doubt about it. I think anybody that watches wrestling knows that and that's why Mike came to play with us, so to speak. It was a great moment, it was a great night, and hopefully we can do more in the future."
The segment has divided opinion between wrestling fans, but Jericho thought that was part of its magic.
“It was totally wild and woolly. It just shows that now more than ever Iron Mike Tyson is someone who’s very buzz-worthy.”
AEW defeated NXT in the ratings this week with 827k viewers compared to the Yellow Brand's 731k. It's been a pretty dominant run for AEW since the Wednesday Night Wars started, but both shows had a viewer increase this week.
AEW also advertised Tyson ahead of time, so it appears as though Iron Mike is very much still a draw in 2020.
