Hughie Fury suffers gruesome cut after horror head clash with Mariusz Wach on Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev undercard

Hughie Fury suffered a horror cut over his left eye during his fight with Mariusz Wach on Saturday night.
The heavyweight, cousin of Tyson Fury, fought on with the injury and ultimately won by unanimous decision on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev.
The contest began with Fury boxing more aggressively than usual.
He took the fight to Wach on the front foot and had plenty of success in the opening three rounds.
Then, in round four, the pair clashed heads.
Fury emerged with a bloody cut over his left eye.
It was checked by the doctor in between rounds, who allowed him to fight on.
Fury was able to see out the victory thanks to the excellent work from his cutman Kerry Kayes controlling the blood flow.
This was not the first time Hughie has endured such an injury.
He previously experienced a similar gash over the same eye in his defeat to Pulev back in 2018.
Again, Fury went the distance in that fight, but ultimately lost on points.
