Canelo vs Yildirim RESULT: Pound-for-pound king stops overmatched mandatory in three rounds after flooring him with crushing right hand

Canelo Alvarez made easy work of his mandatory challenger Avni Yildirim, stopping him in three rounds on Saturday night in Miami.
The Mexican star dominated from the start and forced his opponent's corner to end the bout early.
The fight began with Canelo firing out his jab to find his range in the opening minute.
He followed up by starting his body attack while Yildirim struggled to land at all.
The Turk soaked up the early pressure though and absorbed several body shots without appearing too troubled.
Canelo started to pick his uppercut in round two.
Yildirim remained a relatively stationary target and struggled to respond with any accuracy as the Mexican put his defensive skills on show.
In round three, Canelo made the breakthrough with a straight right hand which floored Yildirim.
He made it back to his feet but continued to take a sustained beating and looked hurt as he returned to his corner.
Coach Joel Diaz was extremely concerned about his man and told him at the end of the torrid round, 'I'm gonna give you one more round and I'm gonna stop you.'
However, just seconds later after seemingly not being satisfied with his man's response, he decided to end it there and then.
Canelo said post-fight: "It's great to be active, I needed the knockout and that's what I did.
"I come here to do my job, I come to win, I come to make history and I've got the best trainer in my corner.
"I feel strong, I feel fast, I feel comfortable.
"I'll fight everyone. I'll always fight the best at super-middleweight. Here I am, making history."
It was then announced that Canelo will next face Billy Joe Saunders on May 8.
Regarding Saunders, he added: "He's a very difficult fighter. We need to go for him.
"People talk, but I'm a mature fighter. I know how to control myself."
