UFC fighter Mike Perry releases clip of sparring session with ‘spoilt brat’ Jake Paul showing different story to YouTuber’s clip

Jake Paul has been on top of the world since knocking out Ben Askren, but remained bullish about who he could possibly fight next.

After UFC lightweight Dustin Poirier suggested fellow UFC man Mike Perry would be an interesting next foe for the YouTuber, Paul responded with an insult aimed towards ‘Platinum’, and then called out Poirier himself - at least it seems that way.

“He was light work,” wrote Paul. “In his own words ‘you kicked my ass’. I want to see Jake Paul vs. Dustin Prober.”

As far as know there is no fighter named Dustin Prober so we’re assuming that’s a fairly lame dig from Paul.

Anyway, along with the comment Paul made, he released a short clip of the moments after he sparred Perry.

Within the clip, Perry can be heard saying: “Good job man. You kicked my ass.”

Naturally, Perry was not happy with Paul’s actions. The 14-8 welterweight has now released a clip of their sparring to paint the real picture of what happened.

It’s not very long, but it shows them actually sparring and Perry on the offensive.

With the video, Perry wrote: “The only clip we got. Go ahead and post some , I took your best shots and walked you down all day. We all know I’m not hard to hit but I’m gonna focus on that now. 

“You know there was no danger in boxing a wrestler last night and you gave me a chance to punch you in the face (and I did) and I respected it but you mistook that and that’s my fault. I show up with my girl and baby so I don’t bring drama. I show up and fight. I was a fan after you sparred me. 

“You showed heart and you’re already successful and you seemed to have a strong team (power in numbers) but you’re a spoiled brat and I’m rich in life. You’re broke with a bunch of fake yes men around you that you pay for. 

“I don’t f*** with nobody and all the money in the world can’t make you real like me,” Perry finished.

Perry was 7-0 when he joined the UFC back in 2016 and he won his first two fights with the promotion. However, last week’s loss to Daniel Rodriguez leaves him with a record of 7-8 in the UFC and he’s lost four of his last five.

Before even agreeing to fight Askren, Paul had publicly called out McGregor after his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and even got extremely personal with some of his insults.

Despite the former two-weight world champion dismissing the YouTuber on Fight Island, Paul insists the fight is closer than ever before.

“We’ll see,” Paul told  after the fight. “There are a lot of people.

“But honestly, when it comes down to signing the contract, these guys duck. Honestly, we’ll see.

“The McGregor fight just became more realistic, like I’ve been saying. I just want to do big fights.”

“I’m going to take some time off,” Paul added. “I’ve been working my f****** a** off.

“I’m only going to do big fights. I want to challenge myself at the same time. Ben Askren was a step up.

“OK, look what happened (in) 1:59. We’ll see who the next big challenge is.

“I don’t want to take some bull s*** s***. I want to challenge myself. I want to do three million, four million pay-per-view buys.

“Who’s going to bring in those numbers?”
