Canelo Alvarez not afraid to step up in weight and face dangerous Russian champion Artur Beterbiev who boasts 100 per cent KO ratio, reveals Eddie Hearn

Canelo Alvarez is known to be considering a future return to light-heavyweight to challenge elite champion Artur Beterbiev (16-0, 16 KOs).
In 2019, the Mexican superstar jumped up two divisions from middleweight (160lbs) to light-heavyweight (175lbs) and knocked out Sergey Kovalev to claim the WBO world title.
While Kovalev was the king at this weight for a long time, he'd been stopped twice and showed signs of his age (36) by the time Canelo faced him.
After this win, Canelo dropped back down and settled at super-middleweight (168lbs).
He's since beaten Callum Smith and Billy Joe Saunders to take the WBA, WBC and WBO world titles.
He just needs Caleb Plant's IBF belt to become a rare undisputed champion.
This is the task on Saturday night, but after that a return to light-heavyweight may be on the cards.
Hearn told : "Canelo Alvarez is the absolute pound-for-pound king, he has the right to fight whoever he wants.
"But the good news is he's fighting champion after champion after champion. He will fight anyone.
"Maybe after this he'll go to light-heavyweight and he may fight Artur Beterbiev and he may fight Dmitry Bivol.
"He doesn't care, he doesn't care. He told me about Beterbiev.
"I said, 'Woah, shouldn't we fight Bivol first?' [He said], 'No, we want him.'
"That's the beauty of Saul Alvarez, he will fight anyone."
