Manny Pacquiao record: From beating Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya to his Floyd Mayweather defeat, PacMan’s incredible CV ahead of Yordenis Ugas bout

Manny Pacquiao will make his return to the ring tonight as he challenges Yordenis Ugas at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
It’s set to be the 42-year-old’s first bout in over two years as he challenges for the WBA ‘super’ welterweight title.
The boxing legend was due to take on Errol Spence Jr for the WBC and IBF welterweight titles, however the American was forced to pull out following an injury to his left eye socket.
As a result, Pacquiao will now take on Cuba’s '54 Milagros’ Ugas as the Filipino looks to extend his almighty record in the sport.
Pacquiao’s last bout was against Keith Furman in July 2019 in which the southpaw came out victorious on a split decision following a closely-contested 12-round spectacle.
Remarkably, that result was his 62nd victory – 39 by knockout - in 71 fights during his illustrious career.
That run includes famous victories against the likes of Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya, while also featuring his memorable defeat to Floyd Mayweather Jr, a fight that he lost by unanimous decision.
His last defeat, however, came over four years ago after a points defeat to Australian Jeff Horn in a WBO welterweight title fight in Brisbane.
Clearly with no intention of adding another defeat to his CV, Pacquiao has sent a clear message to boxing fans that the bout with Ugas is not one to be missed.
He said: "I'm so excited for this championship fight and I don't care if I'm the challenger or champion coming into it.
"We'll see who is the champion after August 21.
"I would tell the fans not to miss this fight. This is going to be a really good one.
"I'm sure that me and Ugas are going to give a fight full of action."
