Carl Froch and George Groves reunite for amusing social media video as former rivals joke around as friends

Carl Froch and George Groves reunited to film a promotional video for social media over the weekend.

The pair shared one of the most intense rivalries British boxing has ever seen in 2013/14, but have now buried the hatched and are going on tour doing after-dinner speaking events together.

Groves began in the clip: "Me and Carl are best of friends now and we are going on tour.

"So he's here with me now - look, here's Carl."

At this point he span the camera to include a silent, menacing Froch.

Groves continued: "We're really excited. It kicks off..."

Froch helped him with the date: "It's the eighth or tenth of October, between us we don't even know."

Groves added: "There's plenty of dates so it's confusing. Get to one of them, you're gonna have a wonderful time.

"I can't wait, it's gonna be so much fun, we're gonna share some stories.

"I'm gonna tell Carl some truths."

Froch then raised his right fist, which famously knocked Groves out, pointed to it and said: "You see that."

But Groves pushed on: "I'm finally gonna convince him that he's been in denial, living in denial for this long.

"But now that we're really good pals it's gonna be easy, so make sure you're there and you enjoy it.

"Because there's f***ing nothing else to do, is there?"

To which Froch concluded: "That's true."
