Tyson Fury will be ‘in a lot of trouble’ if he doesn’t respect Dillian Whyte, says Bob Arum

It appears as though we’re finally going to get the all-British heavyweight title fight we’ve been craving, but it won’t be Anthony Joshua challenging Tyson Fury.
Dillian Whyte is the man who is set to get his shot, some four years after being installed as WBC’s number one contender.
There has been speculation that Fury really wants the undisputed title fight against Oleksandr Usyk and there was potential to ask Joshua to step aside from his rematch with the Ukranian.
Prior to that, everyone, Fury included, wanted to see the showdown with AJ. In light of that, could Fury potentially take The Body Snatcher lightly?
Fury’s American promoter, Bob Arum, thinks it would be a grave mistake if Fury didn’t respect Whyte and he knows the Gypsy King will.
"Why wouldn't Fury respect Whyte? Heavyweights throw bombs,” Arum explained. “If he doesn't respect him, he'll be in a lot of trouble.
"Fury is enough of a professional, and a great fighter, and he knows that you don't take a guy like Whyte lightly."
The deal is in the works at the time of writing and Arum says the fight will indeed take place in the UK.
"[Fury's UK-based promoter] Frank Warren talked [on Wednesday] to Tyson who wants to get in the ring in February or March," revealed Arum.
"We are talking to Whyte now to come to an arrangement to put the fight on in the UK.
"It will be a splendid fight and we are working hard to put it together."
Fury’s last five fights have taken place in the United States and he hasn’t fought on British soil since taking on Francesco Pianeta back in 2018.
The bout with Whyte over the WBC heavyweight title would act as a homecoming for Fury and Arum says the champion deserves it after conquering the American market.
"It will be wonderful.
"He has made such a name for himself in the United States that people mistake him for being an American!
"He is Americanised. He has a home in Las Vegas. He is an open personality. People are attracted towards him, they love him.
"He has done a great job of capturing the American market."
