Crouch was more than happy to oblige the thousands of fans, who were mostly in fancy dress, as they urged him to down his drink.

He whipped up the crowd to get the atmosphere building and duly obliged by seeing off his drink.

The crowd, who were heard chanting 'Crouchy's on the p***', absolutely loved it when he put the empty cup on his head to show he'd succeeded. Former Chelsea and Fulham star Steve Sidwell was also with Crouch and saw off his own drink with aplomb.

Crouchy went full Laura Woods, who showed off her drinking skills a couple of years ago at Alexandra Palace - although she did assure everyone that it was just tea.
