Darts star calls rival a ‘k**b’ and accuses him of ‘stinking the stage out’ in throwback to Gary Anderson fart-gate incident

Darts star Darren Webster accused his opponent of farting during their MODUS Super Series match on Thursday night.
In an incredible social media rant, Webster took aim at Dutchman Ron Meulenkamp after falling to defeat on the same night as Luke Littler's frustrating night against Gerwyn Price in the Premier League.
Webster, a two-time World Championship quarter-finalist, led the contest 3-0, but was pegged back by the Dutchman who went on to win 4-3.
After losing the clash, Webster was clearly furious and refused to shake hands with his opponent as he exchanged words.
Meulenkamp appeared bemused by the incident and shrugged before walking off, leading Webster to take to social media to explain what the disagreement was about.
Posting on Facebook, Webster said:"Well when you play a guy who farts and stinks the stage out and denies it then kick you when your [sic] playing the stall every throw because they are s*** good luck for the future but wheI'm not interested rant over.
Responding to someone criticising Meulenkamp's perceived slow retrieval of his darts from the board, Webster added: "He was knob end of".
The incident had a stark similarity to the 2018 incident when former world champion Gary Anderson was forced to deny farting on stage during his Grand Slam Of Darts clash with Wesley Harms.
"If the boy thinks I've farted he's 1010% wrong. I swear on my children's lives that it was not my fault," he said.
"You can put your finger up my a*** there is no smell there.
"I had a bad stomach once on stage before and admitted it. So I'm not going to lie about farting on stage.
"Every time I walked past there was a waft of rotten eggs so that's why I was thinking it was him. I thought he had a sh**. I thought he had farted on stage.
"It was bad. It was a stink, then he started to play better and I thought he must have needed to get some wind out.
"If somebody has done that they need to see a doctor. Seemingly he says it was me but I would admit it."
A stinky stage was the least of Webster's problems though, with the Englishman losing three of his four matches on the opening night of the Super Series.
He sits bottom of Group B, while Meulenkamp is second in the five-man table after winning three of his four games.
