Brooks Koepka now 1/25 to join LIV Golf Series after Twitter bio change, along with odds-on Justin Rose and Bubba Watson

Brooks Koepka goes from 1/2 to 1/25 to join the recently launched Saudi backed LIV Golf, according to Irish bookie Paddy Power after the four-time major champion removed 'PGA Tour' from his Twitter bio.
Elsewhere, Justin Rose and Bubba Watson are also odds-on, whereas Tiger Woods turned down nearly $1billion dollars to play in the Saudi-breakaway LIV Golf Series, while Dustin Johnson was the biggest name to sign up so far.

The controversial series has received endless headlines since it was first announced and increasing pressure from a human rights perspective.
The Saudi-backed events threaten to disrupt to golf’s old order, with many established players, and major champions, already committing to play despite objections from the PGA and DP World Tours.
Koepka now has a 96% probability to join compatriots Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed and Rickie Fowler.
The American golfer removed 'PGA Tour' from his Twitter bio which prompted rumours and overnight his odds have been slashed considerably.
DeChambeau is another huge name joining from the second event.
But Woods is a huge 1000/1 to join LIV Golf Series after it was revealed by Greg Norman, who is heading up the LIV Golf Invitational Series that: "Woods turned down a deal that was mind-blowingly enormous; we’re talking about high nine digits”.
Multi-major winner Phil Mickelson, and two-time winner Johnson are the headline names who have signed up, with five other major winners Sergio Garcia, Louis Oosthuizen, Martin Kaymer, Charl Schwartzel and Graeme McDowell also playing in the opener at the Centurion Club today.
US Open winner DeChambeau has said he’ll play in the second LIV event later in the year, while Reed and Fowler are also set confirm their involvement in the coming days.
However, all the world’s current top 10, and legends such as Woods, have turned down the chance to play in the new tour…so far.
WHO COULD BE NEXT TO JOIN THE LIV SERIES?
- 1/25 Brooks Koepka
- 8/15 Justin Rose
- 8/15 Bubba Watson
- 6/4 Matthew Fitzpatrick
- 5/1 Xander Schauffele
- 8/1 Will Zalatoris
- 8/1 Viktor Hovland
- 8/1 Patrick Cantlay
- 10/1 Collin Morikawa
- 20/1 Cameron Smith
- 50/1 Scottie Scheffler
- 80/1 Jordan Spieth
- 100/1 Shane Lowry
- 200/1 Jon Rahm
- 250/1 Justin Thomas
- 250/1 Rory McIlroy
- 1000/1 Tiger Woods
World number 12 Xander Schauffele is 5/1, while Will Zalatoris, who finished 2nd at the USPGA last month, is 8/1. Leading European player Viktor Hovland and world number 3 Patrick Cantlay are both 8/1 as well. Two-time major winner Collin Morikawa is 10/1.
While most have distanced themselves from the tournament so far, Paddy Power says there is a 2/1 chance that any of the current OWGR Top 10 could join the breakaway league before this year’s 150th Open at St Andrews.
A Paddy Power spokesperson said: “Who’d have thought outstanding blokes like Bryson and Patrick would end up falling out with almost everyone, just to sacrifice their whole careers for big wads of cash? I just didn’t see that coming.
“Come on everyone. If you’re gonna try to rip apart a whole sport, at least don’t try to bluff us by saying you’re not doing it for the money. I haven’t seen such an iffy lie since my last round.”
