‘Rory, did it go in?’ – Club pro Michael Block gives priceless reaction to fairytale hole in one

Club pro Michael Block made a stunning hole in one to cap off a fairytale week at the PGA Championship.
The 46-year-old defied expectation to make the cut and went a step further by entering the final round inside the top eight.
Playing alongside superstar Rory McIlroy, teaching pro Block sent the crowd wild on the 15th hole with a magical, slam-dunk hole in one.
Initially, the cool Californian did not appear to realise just how good his shot was, and as McIlroy hugged him, Block asked: "Rory, did it go in?"
The crowd favourite walked up the 15th to a wonderful ovation from those at Oak Hill Country Club - and shook his head in disbelief.
Block is the Head Professional at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in California - and sells lessons for about £100.

Twenty club pros qualify for the PGA Championship every year, but rarely do they compete alongside the sport's elite.
Block missed the cut at his six previous major appearances and admitted playing a weekend was the last item on his bucket list.
Having now made a hole in one on Sunday alongside McIlroy, we reckon that might be another few ticked off.
Block also delivered a magnificent par on 18 to secure his place in the top 15, meaning automatic qualification for next year's PGA Championship.

After winning £30,000 in his playing career to this point, Block's tied 15th finish earned him more than £230,000, which equates to approximately 2,300 lessons.
Immediately after signing his card, Block was invited to play in the PGA Tour's upcoming Charles Schwab Challenge, and cameras captured his emotional reaction.
