Why is Scottie Scheffler not with his usual caddie? Ted Scott replaced for third round at PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler had the craziest Friday of his golf career at the PGA Championship.
And his third round on Saturday will also be highly unique, albeit for slightly less dramatic reasons.
Scheffler, who was arrested and then released before teeing off for the second round at Valhalla, is set to play on Saturday without his usual full-time caddie.
Ted Scott has been the third round for several weeks so he can attend his daughter's high school graduation.
Scott is expected to return in time to help Scheffler for Sunday's final round.
“That's something we talked about from the beginning of our relationship was family always comes first,” Scheffler said.
“It's the same thing for me as it is for my caddie. It was a pretty easy decision.
"He told me at the beginning of this year that that was the date.”
Scheffler’s close friend, Brad Payne, will caddie for the world's top golfer on Saturday.
Payne has caddied for Paul Stankowski and serves as a PGA Tour chaplain.
“I trust him to rake a bunker more than my buddies,” Scheffler said.
Scheffler was forced to deal with another level of drama on Friday, when he was detained by Louisville police.
There was a heavy police presence near Valhalla due to a fatal collision that delayed the start of the second round.
The reigning Masters winner was jailed and received four charges for an unrelated incident, including second-degree assault of a police officer.
Scheffler was released in time for the start of the second round and incredibly shot a 66 to sit at nine-under-par, three off the lead.
He issued a statement expressing his sympathies to the victim upon his return to Valhalla.
“This morning, I was proceeding as directed by police officers," Scheffler said. "It was a very chaotic situation, understandably so considering the tragic accident that had occurred earlier, and there was a big misunderstanding of what I thought I was being asked to do.
"I never intended to disregard any of the instructions. I’m hopeful to put this to the side and focus on golf today.
“Of course, all of us involved in the tournament express our deepest sympathies to the family of the man who passed away in the earlier accident this morning. It truly puts everything in perspective.”
