Bryson DeChambeau has been left out of the Team USA squad for the Paris Olympics.

Fresh from winning the US Open, DeChambeau is at the top of his game, but won't be competing in the French capital when the Games begin in July.

Instead, Masters winner Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark, and Collin Morikawa have made the cut.

As a result, DeChambeau is the only 2024 men's major golf champion who won't be competing in Paris.

Scheffler won the Masters, Schauffele came out victorious in the PGA Championship, while Brian Harman's Open Championship crown last year wasn't enough to see him included either.

DeChambeau’s exclusion from the squad is as a result of his world ranking.

Despite winning his second major at the US Open, the world number 10 is still ranked lower than Scheffler, Schauffele, Clark and Morikawa.

That is due to him not earning points towards his ranking while competing in LIV Golf events, something that he hopes will not hold him back in the future.

“Hopefully one day this game of golf will get figured out and come back together and I will be able to play [in the Olympics],” DeChambeau told the 

“I’m playing great golf, I’m excited, but ultimately yeah, am I frustrated and disappointed? Sure, you could absolutely say that.

"But I made the choices that I made and there’s consequences to that and I respect it.”
