Brooks Koepka’s wife has joked she’s been ‘thrown under the bus’ in a wholesome Instagram promotion video for The Open.

The American golfer will be starring out in Scotland this month, with The Open beginning this Thursday.

The Royal Troon will host the Liv Golfer amongst other huge names in the game including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and new Scottish open champion Robert MacIntyre.

Koepka was the focus of one of The Open’s promotional video on their Instagram.

The 34-year-old is filmed bringing his son, Crewe, onto the green.

Sticking his son’s dummy in his mouth, Koepka leaned down over the buggy, leading his kid’s face to burst into a smile.

“What happens when your mum leaves you!” he smiled.

“You’re stuck with us.”

He then hits a shot, with Crewe making a disapproving noise in the back.

“It wasn’t that bad, dude! Relax,” Koepka jokes.

But Koepka’s wife and Crewe’s mother, Jena Sims, wasn’t going to let her husband’s comment about her ditching her son slide.

“Not BK throwing me under the bus,” she commented, alongside a laughing face.

Before his 2024 LIV Singapore win, Koepka's last victory came at the 2023 LIV Golfers Orlando when Sims was pregnant with Crew.

Their son has often been spotted joining the couple on the green at tournaments, and Koepka will be hoping he can be his good luck charm this summer.

Koepka also trolled his opponents over the weekend by wearing an England shirt when facing Spanish players Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia ahead of the Euro 2024 final.
