Rory McIlroy loves a challenge and can probably smell competition from a mile away.

The four-time major winner accepted Cristiano Ronaldo’s demands to showcase his best skills as part of a promotional campaign for the Real Madrid star’s new fragrance.

McIlroy was one of seven celebrities who were asked to post their best moves online as they attempted to live up to the Portuguese trickster.

And the Northern Irishman rose to the task impressively as he pulled off a number of keepy-uppys before firing the ball at his off-guard cameraman.

McIlroy may have endured a tough year on the golfing circuit but he came up smelling like roses in his latest Instagram video.
