Nate Diaz hilariously lights up ‘joint’ in UFC 270 crowd before camera quickly cuts to Mike Tyson as he watches Brandon Moreno lose flyweight title to Deiveson Figueiredo

Nate Diaz was living his best life at UFC 270 as the popular welterweight lit up what appeared to be a joint when the camera panned to him.

The 36-year-old was there supporting Brandon Moreno in his flyweight title defence at the event in California.

When the TV cameras showed the Stockton-native he took the opportunity to play up to the crowd and light the joint he had in his mouth.

The screens then quickly cut to Mike Tyson, who himself is known to have a love of weed, which was either a deliberate choice or happy accident.

It is not the first time Diaz has openly smoked weed at a UFC event, as he did so in a press conference before his fight with Leon Edwards at UFC 263, which he went on to lose.

It was not such a fun night for Moreno, who relinquished his UFC flyweight belt to Deiveson Figueiredo.

The Brazilian finally got a win over Moreno to dethrone him for the title with a unanimous 48-47, 48-47, 48-47 decision.

The new champion said he would be up for facing Moreno in a fourth installment of their rivalry, but this time on the challenger’s home turf of Mexico.

Moreno accepted that Figueiredo had a batter gameplan for him this time around, but he seemed enthused about the idea of facing the champion again, but in Mexico.
