UFC star Charles Oliveira posts footage of intense sparring in preparation for next fight against Justin Gaethje with Conor McGregor backed to beat lightweight champion in future

Charles Oliveira showcased the intensity Justin Gaethje can expect to face when they meet at UFC 274 by posting fierce sparring clips on Instagram.
'Do Bronx' is set to defend his lightweight championship title against the American in May, with the winner potentially facing Conor McGregor.
Having successfully defended his title against Dustin Poirier at UFC 269 in December 2021, Oliveira will be hoping to do it again when he faces 'The Highlight'.
Gaethje also revealed the fight could take place in Oliveira's home nation of Brazil, although no official details in regards to the location of the fight have been confirmed. Nonetheless, the challenger is up for it.
"I want to fight the Brazilian champion, in Brazil. I want the chaos," he told BT Sport.
Given his streak, having not lost since December 2017, Oliveira, 32, is not showing signs of taking his next bout lightly.
His sparring looks brutal in the social media clips as he trains with no head gear on, against a training partner at the legendary Chute Boxe Academy, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
He also wrote a caption which said: "Isso é chute boxe," translating to "this is kick boxing" as he appeared to send out a warning to his next opponent.
Whomever comes out victorious from the contest could face McGregor, who is reportedly willing to fight the winner, and is eyeing a return to the lightweight division before the end of the year.
Currently the Irishman is recovering from a broken leg he suffered last July against Poirier, and, speaking on his , former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping believes he can beat Oliveira.
"Out of all the fights that Conor could have, Charles Oliveira may be one that suits him the best," he explained.
"I think stylistically, Conor would have an easier time with Charles Oliveira than he would with Dustin Poirier. Conor's got good takedown defence.
"In the fight against Khabib [Nurmagomedov], yeah, Khabib dominated that fight but in the first round it was very hard for Khabib to get him down.
"Conor was fighting off those takedowns for quite some time so he's got a good takedown defence and decent jiu-jitsu as well.
"On the feet, I think he'd light Charles Oliveira up and if Charles couldn't get it down to the floor, Conor could get a knockout.
"Could you imagine if Conor comes back, fights Charles Oliveira and knocks him the f*** out, God I couldn’t deal with it."
