Khabib Nurmagomedov laughs off Bobby Green’s weight gain jokes at UFC Vegas 49

Khabib Numagovedov laughed off Bobby Green's jokes about his weight gain as the American lost to Islam Makhachev at UFC Vegas 49.

The former lightweight champion was in attendance supporting Makhachev, who now has an impressive 10 straight wins.

Khabib has taken up coaching since his retirement in 2020, which came after beating Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

He finished his career at 29-0 and even UFC president Dana White's best attempts couldn't bring him back to the Octagon.

Clearly he is enjoying retired life and, by the looks of things, not worried about his weight, which Green joked about.

"He come to me, he come too close and said, 'Hey, you was lightweight?' Something like this you know," Khabib laughed.

"Of course, now I’m big because I’m now like almost two years I’m finished with fights, you know.

"And I try to enjoy. I try to enjoy but every day I train, spend time at the gym with the guys. 

"But why I have to be lightweight?"
