UFC 202: McGregor and Diaz could face suspensions or community service

Interest in the rematch between 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz went into overload yesterday when the two parties threw bottles at each other at the pre-fight fight press conference for UFC 202.
Dana White, president of the UFC, now looks set to punish both McGregor and Diaz for what happened yesterday, which will likely happen after their fight has concluded on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
White said, “They’re both getting punished. What everybody’s got to understand is, we’re overseen by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. I guarantee both of these guys will get massive fines. And there’s probably going to be a hearing, too, after the fight. There could be suspensions, community service; it’s going to be ugly.”
This could potentially delay McGregor’s next fight, which according to White, will be back in the 145 pound weight class, where Conor currently holds the UFC Featherweight belt.
The Irishman’s last fight in that weight class was against Jose Aldo at UFC 194 back in December, where he managed to knock out the Brazilian in 13 seconds.
Since then, Aldo has stepped back in the octagon and claimed the interim featherweight championship, meaning McGregor v Aldo 2 is likely to be the match-up.
