Brock Lesnar issued with suspension for failed UFC 200 drug tests

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has been issued with a temporary suspension by the Navada Athletic Commission (NAC) after failing several drug tests taken prior to UFC 200.
Lesnar, who beat Mark Hunt by unanimous decision in the co-main event in July, was tested a total of eight times by the United States Anti-Doping Agency prior to the event, with the positive results only becoming available after UFC 200 had taken place.
This will mark the first stage of Lesnar’s adjudication process and is expected to receive a formal hearing with the NAC at a later date.
Lesnar could be facing sizable fines as well as a two-year suspension, which will most likely end his Mixed Martial Art career.
Speaking to TMZ Sports a few days ago, Lesnar said: “To my fans that watch me in the octagon, I thank them for their support. This has been a bumpy road, I’m going to get through this alright and there will be a day, maybe, that they’ll see me back in the octagon.”
