Conor McGregor is a fan of strawweight contender Tatiana Suarez.

‘Notorious’ was watching along as the undefeated Mexican-American stretched her perfect record to 10-0 with a sensational win at UFC Nashville on Saturday night.

The former dual-weight titleholder took to social media after Suarez’s latest victory to predict she will become a UFC champion.

McGregor tweeted: “This woman is very, very good. UFC Champion material 100%!”

Suarez made it look easy during the toughest test of her career as she submitted former strawweight titleholder Jessica Andrade inside two rounds at Bridgestone Arena.

The 32-year-old secured a takedown midway through round one and went to work from side control before Andrade forced their fight back to the feet.

Suarez closed the distance and tried to work for a standing guillotine against the fence and used the position to land a flurry of knees.

In the second round, Andrade once again found herself on the floor early and she was forced to fend off a series of submission attempts from the BJJ Brown Belt.

As the Brazilian tried to get back to her feet, Suarez locked up another guillotine choke and dropped to her back to apply pressure until Andrade tapped out.

The Californian is now perfectly placed for a shot at 115lb queen Weili Zhang.

Suarez is 2-0 this year after beating Montana De La Rosa with the same choke in February during a fight that ended her four-year MMA hiatus.

After picking up a unanimous decision win over Nina Nunes at UFC 238 in June 2019, Suarez suffered a series of injury issues that kept her sidelined.

The Ultimate Fighter winner was on the brink of a title shot back then following victories over current flyweight champion Alexa Grasso and former two-time strawweight titleholder Carla Esparza.

Suarez hopes to face Zhang in her next fight, but the Chinese MMA star must first defend her 115lb belt against Amanda Lemos at UFC 292 on August 19.
