‘S***, he was out’ – Drakkar Klose reacts to violent slam KO at UFC Fight Night

Drakkar Klose secured a rare slam knockout at UFC Fight Night on Saturday.
On the prelims at the event in Austin, Klose brutally knocked out Joe Solecki in the first round.
Solecki chose to take his opponent to the ground, but Klose quickly reversed the position to gain the upper hand.
An arm-bar attempt proved to be the wrong move, as Klose picked him up and viciously slammed him onto the canvas.
Solecki's head brutally hit the floor and he was immediately knocked out cold.
Referee Mark Smith was quick to put a stop to the action with just 1:41 on the clock in the first round.

Klose then watched back the footage of his fight in an interview after his KO victory.
He said: “God damn. I don’t know why he ain’t let go. S***, he was out. I should hit him again.
“Ah man, it wasn’t even close. I don’t know why he went for it. Damn, that’s nice."
That was the 35-year-old's first fight since July 2022, and improved his record to 14-2-1.
