‘Bro let the $300,000 cloud his judgement’ – UFC 300 star makes huge gaffe as he suffers come-from-behind loss to potential Paddy Pimblett opponent

Jalin Turner made a major blunder against Renato Moicano at UFC 300 on Sunday morning.
The American MMA star sent his adversary tumbling to the canvas with a huge left hand in the opening stanza but rather than finishing Moicano on the ground, Turner walked off thinking that the fight was over.
To the surprise of 'The Tarantula' referee Herb Dean signalled to fight on as Moicano made his way back to his feet to see out the round.
In the second, Moicano took Turner to the ground where he landed several powerful elbows and punches to his opponent's dome.
The damage pilled up and eventually, the fight was waved off as a defenceless Turner turtled up and turned away.
In the immediate aftermath, the Brazilian exclaimed: “Nobody can hurt me.
“I’m ‘Money f******* Moicano. I’m not going to stop until I have the belt. UFC, you need to respect me, I am the best in the business.”
Although fans were certainly impressed by Moicano's spirited comeback, the majority of the reaction centred around Turner's poor decision-making in the first frame.
One fan wrote: "Bro let the $300,000 cloud his judgement", in reference to the increased $300,000 performance bonuses for UFC 300.
Another tweeted: "Never chase the moment, always chase the finish, a lesson learned for Turner."
A third added: "Can't imagine losing a fight for celebrating early."
While a fourth quipped: "Boy forgot this ain't boxing."
MMA fighters, past and present, were equally as critical of Turner.
Three-time UFC world title challenger, Kenny Florian, posted: "Mo Money for Moicano! Turner is gonna look back on this fight and really regret his decision to not pursue a hurt Moicano in round 1. Renato was clinical from top position. Waited for his opportunity to kill and went for it. #UFC300."
PFL's Johnny Elben tweeted: "Fight till the ref pulls you off. Great win by money Moicano!"
Former UFC welterweight, Alan Jouban, added: "I wonder if Turner was hesitant to follow up following his Bobby Green finish. #UFC300."
Moicano has been linked with a fight against English star Paddy Pimblett in recent weeks.
Ahead of UFC 300, he told assembled media that he would happily agree to an “easy fight” against Liverpudlian but insisted the UFC would have to give his contract a bump to fight someone ranked lower than him at lightweight.
